آسیا- پاسفیک در قرن 21: فرصتها و چالشها

چکیده
این نوشتار به‌دنبال آن است که با نگاهی به وضعیت منطقه جنوب شرق آسیا؛ ابتکار کمربند- راه چین و استراتژی هند و آرام آمریکا، فرصت‌ها و چالش‌های پیش روی منطقه آسیا- پاسیفیک در قرن 21 را به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی مورد بررسی قرار دهد. سؤال اصلی پژوهش حاضر این است که باتوجه به اقتصادمحور بودن این حوزه، آیندۀ روند اقتصادی منطقه به چه سمت در حال حرکت است و ابتکارات آمریکا تا چه ­اندازه در برابر ابتکارات چین دوام خواهند آورد؟ فرضیه مقاله این است که چین و آمریکا در منطقه آسیا- پاسیفیک به‌ویژه حوزۀ آ.سه.آن، درگیر یک رقابت فزاینده و البته نرم هستند. این رقابت اساسا سخت و مبتنی بر حاصل‌جمع صفر نیست. هر دو کشور به‌دنبال پیشبرد منافع خود در منطقه بدون درگیری با دیگری می‌باشند. یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است ازآنجاکه رقابت چین و آمریکا در منطقه هنوز تبدیل به یک رقابت جنگ سردی نشده است، می‌توان آن را هم­زیستی مسالمت‌آمیز مبتنی بر رقابت بین دو قدرت تعریف کرد. در این میان،کشورهای جنوب شرق آسیا نیز در پی تعامل با هر دو قدرت هستند.
