The New Approach of the United States in Afghanistan

Abstract
Eight years after the fall of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan by international coalition, the problems and challenges have furthered in this country. There are severe security challenges like extension of poverty, increase in drug trafficking and growth of radicalism in Afghanistan which tend to escalate the situation. This situation has provoked Obama administration to draw a new strategy to tackle these problems and to review and correct the previous policies. The aim is to find a strategy for a way out from the current stalemate.
The present article aims to study the new US strategy and its prospect in domestic, regional and international levels.
