Abstract
In February 2019 Iran celebrated the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. At this juncture the Iranian foreign Policy is enhancing its stance and at the same time faces with great challenges. The foreign policy of Iran now is known to the world with a specific identity and characteristic. It is notable that the international community gradually gets along with a big part of the hard demands of Iran. The Iranian foreign policy had dissolved the long standing coalition formed based on the hostile policies of the United States. Though with Donald Trump at the white house, currently the nuclear deal is faced with a challenge, but at the new circumstances the US could not revive the last coalition against Iran. At the regional level, Iran's foreign policy achieved a lot and simultaneously it faces with many challenges. Iran has many open and unsettled files in its foreign policy in particular with regards to the Middle East region. In this article we will make a critical review of the current stance of Iran's foreign policy and point out the opportunities and challenges the foreign policy would deal with at the outset of the fifth decade of the life of the Islamic Republic.
