The inclusion of WAVE resolution and its subjects are extensive and legally it could be considered as like other decisive resolutions adopted by general assembly of UN dealing with human rights, peace, and international security.
The resolution emphasizing on the ways rather than military means in encountering the extremism .instead of resorting to military solution, combating violence and extremism should rely on “policy making” and “legalization” in both international and national levels. In this article, besides analysis of contents and goals of the resolution, different legal approaches and means to reduce the level of violence and extremism nationally and internationally would be explored.
