This phenomenon has not only transformed policy-making tools but also redefined key concepts such as agency, social reality, knowledge, and international order. This study, with a focus on metatheory, examines the relationship between artificial intelligence and the ontological, epistemological, and methodological dimensions of International Relations theory. The main research question addresses the impact of artificial intelligence on the threefold metatheoretical dimensions (ontology, epistemology, and methodology) of International Relations. The study employs the English School, as a middle-ground and pluralist theory, to explain these transformations. By emphasizing new concepts such as hybrid entities and actors, cybernetic feedback loops at the ontological level, symbiotic epistemology, and integrated methodology, the effects of artificial intelligence on International Relations theory are analyzed. The role of diplomacy as a central institution of international order is examined in light of technological transformations, and the concept of "synergistic diplomacy"—based on deep human–machine cooperation and interaction—is introduced. The article concludes by emphasizing the necessity of metatheoretical rethinking within existing theories and the gradual evolution of the English School to address the emerging digital order.<br><br>The research method of this article is descriptive–analytical, and data has been collected through document and library study. Using conceptual analysis, the study seeks to provide a theoretical framework for understanding the metatheoretical transformations brought about by artificial intelligence. ظهور هوش مصنوعی، چالشی اساسی برای بنیان‌های مفهومی، هنجاری و نظری روابط بین‌الملل پدید آورده است. این پدیده نه‌تنها ابزار سیاست‌گذاری را متحول ساخته، بلکه مفاهیمی چون عاملیت، واقعیت اجتماعی، دانش و نظم بین‌المللی را بازتعریف کرده است. پژوهش حاضر با تمرکز بر فرانظریه، به بررسی نسبت هوش مصنوعی با ابعاد هستی‌شناختی، معرفت‌شناختی و روش‌شناختی در نظریه روابط بین‌الملل می‌پردازد. سؤال اصلی پژوهش تأثیر هوش مصنوعی بر ابعاد سه‌گانه فرانظریه (هستی‌شناسی، معرفت‌شناسی و روش‌شناسی) روابط بین‌الملل است. ظرفیت‌های «مکتب انگلیسی» را به عنوان یک نظریه میانه و تکثرگرا در تبیین این تحولات مورد استفاده قرار می‌دهد. با تأکید بر مفاهیم جدیدی چون موجودیت و بازیگر ترکیبی، و حلقه‌های بازخورد سایبرنتیک در سطح هستی شناسی، شناخت شناسی همزیستی و روش تلفیقی تأثیرات هوش مصنوعی بر نظریه روابط بین الملل تبیین می‌گردد. نقش دیپلماسی به‌عنوان نهاد محوری نظم بین‌المللی در پرتو تحولات فناورانه تبیین شده و مفهوم «دیپلماسی هم‌افزا» مبتنی بر همکاری و تعامل عمیق انسان ـ ماشین ارائه می‌شود. نتیجه‌گیری مقاله بر لزوم بازاندیشی فرانظری در نظریه‌های موجود و تحول تدریجی مکتب انگلیسی برای پاسخ‌گویی به نظم دیجیتال آینده تأکید دارد. روش تحقیق این مقاله توصیفی ـ تحلیلی است و داده‌ها از طریق مطالعه اسنادی و کتابخانه‌ای گردآوری شده‌اند. با استفاده از تحلیل مفهومی تلاش شده است چارچوبی نظری برای درک تحولات ناشی از هوش مصنوعی در سطح فرانظریه‌ای ارائه شود. https://fp.ipisjournals.ir/article_735082_1ee6eabc0f029fd35cf1c33f51fecf9c.pdf
