Korean Peninsula have been the strategic battlefield of self-interested global and regional powers for centuries, and due to its geopolitical position still hosts the conflict of regional and global powers’ interests and their competitions. North Korea’s nuclear issue and the division of the peninsula not only has affected the people of this land, but also the whole region of Northeast Asia. Hence, it is expected that the Korean Reunification would cause dramatic changes in the visage of Northeast Asia as well as the regional balance of power. In this regard, the question of present research would be: What are the strategic implications of the probable Korean Reunification? The hypothesis of the paper is that the Korean Reunification, while challenging the current security situation of the region, will increase the tensions among the powers and raise the role of Unified Korea in the political and economic fields شبه جزیره کره به عنوان سرزمینی کهن و استراتژیک، جایگاه یکی از پیچیده‌ترین و دشوارترین معماهای صحنه بین الملل است و تقسیم شبه جزیره کره را می توان بزرگترین میراث باقی مانده از جنگ جهانی دوم در شمال شرقی آسیا دانست. شبه جزیره کره برای قرون متمادی، صحنه نبرد استراتژیک و منفعت طلبانه قدرت‌های جهانی و منطقه‌ای بوده است و این سرزمین به سبب موقعیت ژئوپلتیک خود، کماکان محل تضاد منافع و رقابت قدرت‌هاست. برنامه هسته‌ای کره شمالی و دوپارگی شبه جزیره نه تنها مردمان آن سرزمین، بلکه کل منطقه را تحت تأثیر خود قرار داده است. به شکلی که انتظار می‌رود، وقوع وحدت در شبه جزیره کره، چهره منطقه و مناسبات قدرت در شمال شرق آسیا را با تحولاتی شگرف روبرو کند. در این راستا، سوال پژوهش حاضر این است که پیامدهای راهبردی وحدت احتمالی دو کره چه مواردی خواهند بود؟ فرضیه مقاله مدعای آن است که وحدت دو کره، ضمن به چالش کشیدن مناسبات امنیتی حاضر در منطقه، موجبات افزایش تنش میان قدرت ها و افزایش نقش آفرینی کره متحد در زمینه های سیاسی و اقتصادی را فراهم خواهد آورد. روش پژوهش مقاله توصیفی- تحلیلی بوده و برای گردآوری اطلاعات مورد نیاز آن نیز از روش اسنادی و منابع معتبر اینترنتی استفاده شده است.  https://fp.ipisjournals.ir/article_34880_c736b91eecdcfc795549afee33c96ce4.pdf
